Is anybody else using Hedgeapples to repel insects? I just recently found this website called Hedgeapple.com. They claim that if you put one in each room of your house that they will repel insects. I bought 12 of these interesting fruits and they have actually worked! I have seen a big reduction in spiders and cockroaches. If your looking for a natural way to repel insects then this is it.

Hi Marcia,

The internet is truly magnificent, thanks for your tip. I live in Manchester, UK and most of the year its cool and quite wet here. One of the bonuses about living in such a mild climate is that we don't tend to suffer from too many insects in the home. Just the odd house spider and blue bottle fly. I am interested in these Hedge Apples though and I will have a good look at www.hedgeapple.com when I get a chance. I wonder whether they grow or are available over here.

By the way welcome to the forum.
:D
