Dear Saviour ,

Or was it a trick posting ?

No! 10^0 is 1!!! That was the point! If no-one is watching the value of X is the same but there is a reduction if one person is watching (0.1) or a bigger reduction if 2 people are watching (0.01) etc...

You guys! Go back to school!

Temper my fellow... temper....

The statement regarding childrens from sirilucky is interesting.. I do remember I often ate few bad foods -including dropped one- when I was a child (without being noticed by my parents of course ;) ), and I get typhus in once upon a time. So I decide, if I have childrens, I will pay strict attention on their foods... Meanwhile, their dady probably still eating some dropped foods (without being noticed by them of course ;) - the 0 coefficient still works in this way).

Arya

Dear Arya;

Congragulation for your 100 posts

refer to your question from my opinion. It depends on the type of food, if it is liquid or slip fast on the floor even the floor clean i will not eat it but if it is unfragil foods or not easy to shatter like bread or biscuit I will mop it and eat it directly.

Dear Forum,

Yay!! 100 posts!! 1000 posts are yet to come:)

And for this valuable moment, I shall give you a silly question (again): "Do you pick your dropped food, and then eat it?". This question pops up in my head when I accidentaly dropped my cookies on the floor on a very quite morning in my office. After verify the sanitation and hygiene condition of the floor (it has been mopped by the janitor), and of course... no one sees me, Im innocently escort that shattered cookies into my mouth:)

Do you think it is a good thing/habit to do? What about you?

Regards,

Arya

Congrats for 100 posts now reaching 300. WELL DONE,

For me it depends upon the food and floor, if food is solid and the ground is cleaned no matter i will wipe and eat it, if the food is liquid - then no need for thinking more, personally i will wipe with tissues and clean immediately whereever whenever possible.

Taking out immediately is good habit whether you eat or throw it in bin. and wipe-out the surface immediate with tissue paper or towel.

I found an interesting video on the same topic, please enjoy it!
Wait till the last question arrives: Is the "5 second rule" really true?

I never eat food that has been dropped on the floor ut I know plenty of people who do and don't think it has ever harmed them.

Congrats on your 100th post!

It seems that Britain has a 3 second rule and the rest of the world is 5 second!

Speaking as a chocolate-loving-female........I would NEVER drop a cookie! .......Sacrilege!!

"Now dear, do as I say, not as i do."
I guess I figure they don't have the same sense of judgment that I do, so its easier to forbid it all rather than explain the distinctions that I understand.
