Very usefull site you have here, I am in the UK in warehousing and distribution. Currently we are audited to the efsis storage and distribution standard.

Already found some interesting discussions.

Regards,

Paul

Hi Paul and a warm welcome to the forum. We have members from all over the world and from all links in the food chain including warehousing and distribution. I was not aware of the EFSIS storage and distribution standard, so I've learned something new.

Is it a new standard?

Regards,
Simon

Hi Simon, no it's not new, 2003 issue, it is virtually the same as BRC but without the other modules, purchasing etc.

Cheers then

Paul

Right thanks for that Paul. I know it's a bit late but if you're still around why did you choose the EFSIS standard insted of BRC? Customer requirement or other?

Simon
