In October during a business trip to Argentina Dave Powley died suddenly.

I never met Dave in person and like some many of the friends I have made through the website I knew him through the exchange of emails and a couple of telephone calls.

Dave was a very well respected Risk Management Professional and provided several excellent articles for this web site and also for more eminent publications. He will be sadly missed by the quality profession and readers of SaferPak in particular.

My heartfelt condolences to Dave's friends and family.
