Hello

I've just been reading through the HACCP section of your website which has been quite useful. In there it mentions being able to download free document templates and example HACCP study and procedures by signing up to this discussion forum. I just wondered how to download them?

Also, the book you mention, "Hygiene Audit and HACCP Training for Packaging Manufacturers" by Dagmar Engel - would you recommend it? Is it useful and relavent to flexible packaging producers?

As a little background to me, I work for a company who has recently aquired some flexible packaging production machinery, who are looking to start supplying food producers with flexible packaging. We will require BRC accreditataion (and a HACCP study) before we can supply.

Many thanks
Darren

Hi Darren,

Follow the link below and it will take you to the documents you want.
Document Downloads

The book you mention is quite a useful reference on general food packaging hygiene issues especially if you have limited knowledge in this area. It isn't though a 'how to' guide on implementing a technical system to meet the requirements of The BRC/IoP Packaging Standard.

I notice that the price of the book has been reduced by 30% through Amazon at least it is a little more reasonably priced now.

Feel free to ask your questions on here and we will help you all we can.

Regards,
Simon

Thanks Simon

I've tried opening the zipped file but it won't let me open it saying it may be corrupted? Has anyone else has any trouble opening it?

Many thanks

Darren

That's strange...I just tried it and it worked OK. I will email the docs to you.

Simon

Greetings! I am a student at studying safety and sanitation. I have been assigned a project to make a HACCP plan to show my understanding of the subject. I am writing in regards to the topic of this form. I have many blank HACCP forms, but I’m looking for blank templates that I can electronically fill in the blanks in order to make my project look very nice. I have searched for a few hours on the internet and have only found a few leads. In the form, you said you could e-mail blank templates to another person. Would you (Mr. Simon or anyone) be willing to also E-mail me the templates?

Thank you

-James
