Bhavin

HACCP is basically the same for cosmetics manufacturing and food manufacturing, however you should be aware that ther are potentially many complex issues that come into play with cosmetics - far more than with food.

My advice is to start to put together your HACCP plan and note the various issues along the way.

Bavin, its good iDEA. HACCP is designed for Food Industries, u can apply it for any thing u r eating. Give preference on ur hazard analysis for food colors nd Instnt food mixes.

The ASEAN cosmetic GMP will come in handy and you can modify it to suit your needs. As Wilkindubai has indicated that you can use the HACCP Principles and apply them to the Cosmetic sector. As you know the root of HACCP came from the enginnering sector before it got evolved to what it has and as you know it is constantly evolving with better information and suggestions and tighter global standards.

There is a standard, ISO 22716 Cosmetics -- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) -- Guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices
http://www.iso.org/i...?csnumber=36437
also ISO 29621 Cosmetics -- Microbiology -- Guidelines for the risk assessment and identification of microbiologically low-risk products
http://www.iso.org/i...?csnumber=45592
that may be helpful
