Dear List members,

I am new in this forum but I have been saddled with the responsibilities of Designing and implementation of a Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000: 2005 & HACCP) for a cocoa processing industry. Even though I have some background knowledge on ISO 22000: 2005 and HACCP, please can any one assist me with how to go about the GAP analysis, and other things that I need to do so as to be successful in this assignment given to me.

I will more appreciate if I can get a sample of such work that have done in any other food processing indutry.

Thank you.

Dear Goodness,

This thread (where you hv also posted) is probably one of the best general presentations to yr query -

http://www.ifsqn.com...dpost__p__45822

A Gap Analysis typically provides a precis of the basic requirements of the standard. Then you compare the items to yr existing system to see which ones are missing.

If you wish to get some more ideas as to the interpretation of many of the clauses, can suggest the attachments in this thread -

You might also find these documents prev. posted by Zeeshan of some interest -

Attached File  z2 - Comments on FSMS.doc   60.5KB   101 downloads

Dear Charles,

I am so grateful for all the information that you provided for me. You have made my fair to disappear. I will still have to study those materials very well but I want to ask if it will be possible for any one to assist me in getting the soft copy of the ISO 22000:2005 Manual.

Thank you.

I'm also new to this forum but have found it to be very helpful. I'm also trying to implement ISO 22000 in our factory and it's been difficult to say the least, so I'm enjoying all the help I'm getting from this site.

Thank you all for been so helpful.

Regards,
Roxann
