Hi Everyone
I'm working for this new company and we make seafood concentrate flavourings we have raw ingredients coming in we all so have the product that we
make coming out on pallets of different size containers and I'm not sure on how to organise all of that. Can anyone help me make some kind of inventory
spread sheet . We start to ship next week and I need to figure out some way to keep track of everything. If you have any questions please ask and I will answer
the best I can. I don't have much experience in receiving and shipping trracking someone help !!
Thanks

Hi Steph,

Unless it is a very small operation, with few inputs, I can’t really see an Excel Spreadsheet cutting it. Does the company have no inventory management software, of any kind, already in place?

I could certainly whip you up a decent spreadsheet but it would be important to first check that you don’t already have something in use in the factory. You may well have.

Your last sentence also leads me to believe that you are more likely talking about a traceability system here. Which would make sense given where you have posted your question!

Perhaps you could clarify the above Steph? And provide us with a little more detail on the volume of incoming/outgoing goods and complexity/make-up of your products. (without giving away any sensitive information of course)

Thanks,
Philip.
