Does someone knows if there is a determined content for a fire extinguisher more adequate for production areas? Posted ImageOne time I've heard something similar... but IMO besides the kind of sources of fire that you have I don't see other parameter influencing the selection of the extinguisher type.

I think you should choose the fire extinguisher based on a fire safety risk assessment; meaning an extinguisher suitable for attacking fires of the sort expected in the area. If there is a fire then you attack the fire and don't worry about food safety (for the time being). After dealing with the emergency then a full food safety risk assessment needs to be conducted to determine if product needs to be scrapped, reworked and the area cleaned etc.
