Has anyone had an audit against the new standard?
If so, what differences did you notice?

Just finished our BRC audit, the auditor was here for a day and a half. didn't really notice any differences with the actual audit.

We have managerd to get a B grade. I like the grading system better, if only we hadn't got that one major we would have been in line for an A, but the auditor was right to raise what he did, a glass breakage issue.

HACCP seemed to be the main issue, with the auditor spending a couple of hours going through and recording all possibble information, that was probably the only difference, so its a case of make sure that everything within your HACCP is referenced correctly. We have just reviewed our HACCP and put most of the CCPs as pre-requisite programs, as long as we proved that these were being done, it hasn't half simplified our HACCP!!

Sue,

We've been with CMI for around 4 years, they are not a bad company, the only issue I have is that we have had a different auditor for every audit, so you don't get a lot of continuity of audits, some will raise issues, others have looked at exactly the same thing and haven't raised anything, but all in all they are quite fair, very thorough, but fair!

I can see it as a quote on their website under "satisfied customers".

BTW Nadine congrats on passing the inspection.

just out of curiosity which certification body did you go with?

We're with National Britannia, and have been for the last four years.
We have found them very good. The auditor we have had for the last 2 audits, and the next one, digs deep enough to find real problems which helps us improve our systems.

the only issue I have is that we have had a different auditor for every audit
