Hello,

Does anyone have ideas on creating a working spreadsheet to track Master Sanitation cleaning tasks and tracking them. Also, filtering items that are due on the desired frequencies that are defined on the Master schedule.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!!

Hi. I just use an excel spreedsheet. That way you can filter any column you would like. the left column lists tasks, followed by frequency and resonsibility. Then each column after I put week ending dates. When the tasks are completed a date and initial is put in that cell indicating completion and verification of completion. I also color code the cells under the week ending date as indication of target dates of the schedule. So as you scan the sheet if you see a colored cell and it is after that weekending date and there is no initials and date then you know that task is behind.

I am sure there are software packages that can handle this also but this method has worked for a number of years for us.

Check out the topic of "guard tour" on the internet as well. It may be useful.

Do you have a template that I could try to use?

Thanks,

Michael
