Has anyone here carried out an Acrylamide risk assessment under the new ASDA AA Audit?

I never did acrylamide risk assessment but I have analysed its content from lots of food products during my PHD research work.

 

If you need anything related to its analysis or quantification I can suggest you.

Hi Caz,

 

we have a more than 10y history on acrylamide reduction in Germany (2002).

We deliver for all the time to UK retailer which are doing in all other case in-depth analysis of risk. But for acrylamide - as a bakery we have lots of experience - I tried several times to discuss this topic with them - no interest. About two years ago this topic becomes more attention all over Europe through EC activities.

I remember that you are in dairy? As long as sufficient water is availabe acrylamide formation is low.

Do you no the FDE-toolbox? It is a good tool to support the risk assessment, to see what is critical and which solutions are available.
