Is there any requirement that says ownership/or quality be notified in any way if the freezer or cooler goes out or temperature drops below set limit during the period  when the facility is closed?

Storage & Transport:

"Cold and chilled storage rooms shall be fitted with temperature monitoring equipment and located so as

to monitor the warmest part of the room and be fitted with a temperature measurement device that is easily

readable and accessible."

Industry best practice would be to have these monitored continually and alert someone if they go outside the set parameters.
