Are these the most outrageous weight-loss product claims? - Double Shot

'I guarantee you will lose a minimum of 20lbs per week without doing any diet or exercise!'

Dr Joseph Breechman

Director of Weight Loss Research for the Freedom Centre Against Obesity

Manon Fernet of Freedom Center Against Obesity agreed to pay $500,000 Fine after being charged

'These defendants made outrageous claims about their supposed weight-loss treatment and encouraged overweight consumers to forgo diet and exercise'

Hi Tony,

Great stuff.

At the risk of diverting the main flow, i also noticed these profound promotional observations within the second link. Must admit to some sympathy with the plaintiff in first one. -

“There was a case in which a customer tried to sue (and failed) because of claims that a certain body wash would get him more women. And it didn’t get him more women,

Many people tend to be cautious of what they eat.

Published clinical studies implicate all these ingredients

In fact, when combined with bulking agents and high-intensity sweeteners, inulin can be used to produce...(unspecified !!)

at the conclusion of 12 weeks and lost significantly more body

Kind Regards,

I prefer a weight loss treatment which sweeps germs from blood and as is purely vegetable.  I'm going to petition the company to start labelling packages as "purely vegetable" instead of "all natural"

Seems like you are bit older than me Magenta

A gentleman never asks and a lady never tells, good sir.

I have to step outside for some air - I'm getting a case of the vapors :giggle:

Just remember that the ads today serve the same purpose and it's wise to look at them with the kind of wary eye.
