Back to work on 12/26, working 12/27 also

6 hour shifts on NYE, New Year's Day off, return to work 1/2 and 1/3.  Still and all, BREAKS are GOOD

Our company does this every year to do some major PMs for the machines and to do any building work that cannot be completed during normal production. (We are a 24h /6 day facility)

So every year it is a much needed break. The office usually still works but this year I've saved some vacation time and have closed out the year early!

We're back to work the 26th as well...but I'm itching to take advantage of a day off and make it a long weekend...   I'm on thin ice though, didn't attend the Christmas party, so I'm tainted meat.  Like Bob.

Instead, take the time to revitalize yourself in the intimacy of your home or at a friend's.

Humm... I'll have to meditate on that when I'm out of the weekly conference call.

LOL! I love it Martha.

My favorite joke is pretty corny but it's kid friendly and I think it's hilarious.  Of course you have to do it in person because some of it involves a little acting.

Speaking of Grover, I can believe I forgot, my favorite book as a kid was Grover's "The monster at the end of this book".  I thought it was pretty funny!

So when will you post the video of the joke?

My son loved "The Monster at the End of This Book."  It's fun for adults to read also, so you don't get bored reading it over and over.

Other good kids books are the Little Critter series by Mercer Mayer.  They were as much fun for the parent as the child.  Mercer Mayer did a great series of wordless books, the story was told in pictures.  The child got to tell the tale of a boy, his dog, and the antics of a frog in these books. It was great for a dyslexic child and fostered imagination.

Last minute Christmas suggestions there.

I have the same schedule as Setanta....but am glad for a few days off.....Happy Dance and no one does it better than Snoopy...

Snoopy is the best!  Our beagles have never gotten past the "bounce" state when they are excited, but beagles do dance.  And mine ARRRROOOOs at me when he's excited.  And, of course, I answer, so we stand there howling at each other with joy.
