hello colleagues ) !
I represent the grain terminal. We are receiving, storage and shipment of grain and grain products
Anyone in practice implement a program of control of Salmonella in the terminal?
What kind of regulations prohibit the presence of salmonella in the product ?
Thanks ))
Hello Bosuk,
Thanks for yr query and Welcome to the Forum !
Not in USA but i seem to recall that USDA are the regulatory control body for Grain/Grain products. Local posters are welcome to correct me if not the case !.
I predict that a zero tolerance for Salmonella will be the standard requirement.
As to the industry's interest in controlling this pathogen, maybe see this example -

As to specific programs of Salmonella control, GMA's well-known publications have been attached in numerous posts relating to low-moisture foods on this forum. I daresay there are many others also issued by individual Grain Trader's Organisations.
(eg google "usa grain control salmonella")
