Hello everybody

I was wondering why the 7.3 ( I am not exactly sure ) on ISO 9001 "Design of the product " has not correpondence on ISO 22000. Does it mean that that point was " not aplicable " in the mayority of QMS implemented on food conmpanies ?

Regards
Esther

Esther,

Design of the product which is "product development" comes under the broader interpretation of "planning for realization of safe quality products" under ISO 22K. Its really very widely covered including issues on regulatory, packaging etc. ISO 22K is very subtle and non-descriptive but requires you to apply a wider perspective of food safety in general.
