All 20 sites of our  company are SQF, we have just aquired 5 new facilities that are currently BRC issue 6 and 7. We wish to convert these facilities to SQF 7.2 and we are looking to see if anyone has a cross reference matrix that will show or link each SQF 7.2 requirement to the BRC issue 6 or 7 requirements.

Thanks for your help

Hi Denis.

Up-to-date, detailed, comparisons of the GFSI recognised standards seem to be rare.

There should be a tabulation on the GFSI website but probably only dated at ca. 2012. Access requires (free) sign up but the system seems clunky.

I have attached the latest cross-matrix evaluations I could find below in chronological order. Regrettably, Brc 6/7 so far not turned up. Hopefully other pairs of eyes will do better.

The 2011 item is sparse on detail but quite well arranged/commented IMO.

Attached File  Comparison (detailed) brc4 - sqf2000,iso22000,ifs,et al (ca.2007).xls   76KB   77 downloads

Attached File  Comparison brc5 - sqf2000,iso22000 (2008).pdf   477.38KB   56 downloads

Attached File  Comparison (condensed) for brc5 - sqf6(2011).pdf   376.23KB   75 downloads

Kind Regards,

addendum

Just for interest, here is a brc3 comparison which has IMO a nicely laid out format (see the tables at extreme end of file).

Attached File  comparison (2006) brc3 - (sqf,ifs,iso22000,dutch haccp).pdf   456.54KB   43 downloads

Note the relatively  simpler expectations, eg no direct allergenic entries. Times have changed.

PS - just in case anyone might be interested, there is a cross-matrix of brc6 / ifs6 here -
