Dear everyone

I would like to say thank you to to the help Charles.C gave me in my last problem about HACCP plan. Actually, I'm on my way building an HACCP (CODEX) plan for the Refined soybean oil product with my team. We have problem contructing a GMP and SSOP for the chain production of this product due to lack of materials. Anyone who knows where I can access the information relevant to this please let me know. I'll very appreciate it. My thanks in advance! Thank you

Best Regards

Zagmain

Hi zagmain,

It may depends on the particular standard which you are attempting to comply with and specifically the scope of yr required GMP/SSOP system.

I have attached a reference FSMS text used in Europe within the oil refining industry. This uses some of the concepts of ISO22000. The prerequisite section (analogous to GMP/SSOP) is probably derived /condensed from iso22002-1. The full details for the respective sections will depend on yr own set-up -

Attached File  EU_ Guide_good_practice_feed_materials_Fedoil.pdf   2.03MB   257 downloads

(Prerequisite sections are textually hyperlinked via Pg30)

In comparison, the on-line 21CFR, Pt110 module for food manufacturing ex USA has more detail and expanded scope –

 http://www.accessdat...cfm?CFRPart=110

and a supplement  –

Attached File  cgmp-coalition-principles-practicesaug-22-2011.pdf   832.74KB   218 downloads

Iso22002-1 is also an excellent compilation but copyright.

Hopefully of some use.

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

The information you gave me is extremly helpful, I'll spend the next days to read it and find out from which i can utilize to build my own company procedures, thank you! In addition, anyone who has other materials please share with me, this would help me  have more choices to decide. Thanks again!

Well atually, if there is a detail GMP or SSOP procedure for recommendation (vegetable oil production or any equivalent product) it would be even much better. Thanks

So what FS standard are you targetting ?

Some detailed  Procedures for Prerequisite Programs exist but I have not seen any specifically designed for refined vegetable oil production. Sorry.

PS - from a quick look, yr industry uses a lot of technical Prerequisite programs, eg -

my company import crude soybean oil from external sources and just perform at our plant we go on the refining stages -> packaging to the final refined soybean oil product. We are aiming for the HACCP (Codex) standard, the most basic HACCP. If you dont have such thing, then how about example from other type of food product like Milk or sth?

Actually our plant have procedures for a worker or an operator to follow, but still we want to have a look at the HACCP standard prerequisite programs for comparison. Thank you!
