Using the most recent issuance of the BRC IOP Issue 5 available for free download from the BRC website here I have put the requirements into a checklist to assist with an audit or gap analysis. Feel free to download and rework the excel file to make it work best for you.

  • If you are the High Hygiene Category you are the first tab, Basic Hygiene would be the second tab.

  • This Issue will go into effect January 1st, 2016.

Good luck to everyone! :)

Notice: This is not my sole creation, the standard was published by BRC and repurposed for educational use, please adhere to these guidelines.

I recommend using the BRC/IOP standard checklist as part of your internal audit programme.  Risk assess the requirements and then plan to do them at suitable frequencies.  We really need to sharpen up if we are going to get an AA grade or AA+ grade unannounced.

BTW I'm half way through the gap analysis.

Regards,

Simon

Are voluntary modules 9-17 required for certification?

Has anyone ever published a checklist for these?

Hello all,

I have a question.

My next BRC Audit scheduled in September / October. And the BRC/IOP Global Standard - Food Packaging issue 5 will be out on 01st July 2015.

Do i need to purchase an original copy of the new revised standard that i presume will supersede the issue #4.

Thank you & Regards,

Thank you so much for this. I have a question I passed BRC certification but the auditor write down and observation so He suggested that I have to evalute my primary packaging suppliers with this questionary. Since they are my primary packaging i think i have to use the high higiene category right. Any suggestions?
