Hello all,

We are currently SQF - Level 2 Certified.  In filling out a very time sensitive form from a potential customer, I am in need of your help.

It is asking:

1)  What 3rd Party cGMP Audit Program do you use?   (is this wanting certification body, or sqf?)

              Then asks: cGMP type??

2)  Are you cGMP certified??  (sqf certified also mean GMP certified?)

3)  Are you GFSI certified??    (sqf certified also mean GFSI certified?)

The wording is confusing to me.

Thanks so much - it's so awesome having help at your fingertips!  :)

A: If you are SQF 2 that is what they want to know.

2)  Are you cGMP certified??  (sqf certified also mean GMP certified?)

A: cGMP and GMP are the same with the c meaning Current

3)  Are you GFSI certified??    (sqf certified also mean GFSI certified?)

A if you are SQF certified, you are GFSI certified

You may wish to clarify with your customer what they consider cGMP. Although Brian is most likely correct, cGMP is a specific FDA criteria for pharmaceuticals. The FDA inspects these pharmaceuticals companies for compliance. Our company is inspected to the specific guidelines of the Pasturized Milk Ordinance in addition to our SQF certification. http://www.fda.gov/D...g/ucm169105.htm
