For those of you who have High Risk areas - How do you formally measure and record the positive air flow?

We do the same as above in our factory floor. Piece of paper held at the window to see if air is blowing from HR to LR

Is the paper movement method acceptable to a BRC auditor?  How often do you check and how do you record the test?

Yes, it is accepted by BRC ( at least they have never challenged our method).  We use that system for many years. We check it once a day as part of the start up check in the morning and then record the check as Yes (when it works) or NO. Hope it helps

Does anyone actually measure using an Anemometer.  What are the limits and how are they set?  Could anyone point me towards a UK retailer Standard which might specify.

try 0.5 m/s minimum. That's a retailer standard.

As ads78 said - 0.5ms is a good number using an Anemometer
