To All of my Friends at IFSQN:  :bye:

It has been SEVERAL months since I've posted here which, while I've missed everybody's support, sarcasm, and wit, has been for a very good reason: we hired a Director of Operations & Quality who has nearly 15 years in Quality in the food industry and who mentored me while I took us through a successful BRC audit in about 7 months - with an AA grade no less!!!   :yay:

And now that things have died down, I am moving on from my position and from food in general. I have vast amounts of respect for all of you and the rest of the people who go to such lengths to keep our food safe and of good quality but have found this is not the industry for me - at least not in this town.

But I am not here to b!tch.  :oops2:  I am here to give you all my wholehearted, sincere, intense thanks for all of your support, warm wishes, and laughs. This is an amazing forum and source of valuable information, support, and insight. There have been many times when I've thought I've been very hard-lined on something only to have someone here provide a different avenue of thought on that topic and make me rethink the thing completely. I LOVE that kind of challenge to my thinking.

You guys are all awesome and thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I don’t get involved in as many discussions as I would like to these days, but I do read and notice what’s going on.  I did notice when you were active and when you stopped and I mourned you then. :crybaby:

Thanks for stopping by to update us and thanks for your contributions to the forum in the past. It looks like you did your job and achieved the goal AA – Congrats and best of luck for the future wherever you go and whatever you do.

Regards,
Simon
