Rohus100,

See ISO 9001:2008 - Control of Documents of External Origin

Companies can use documents that are created internally and documents that are created by persons or organizations outside of your own - external documents.  Both must be handled properly through your document control procedures.  If your process uses external documents you firm needs to monitor for updates and revisions made by the external authors and sources.  Typically external documents are recorded on a document register that includes much of the same information gathered for internal documents; e.g. document name, revision history, document location and so on.

Hi Rohus,

It may help if you can add a little more "context" to yr queries, eg what kind of document are you referring to ?

Kind Regards,
