Looking for guidance as to what others may be doing regarding uniforms for Managers and Supervisors, QA personnel who spend time near the converting lines.  Uniforms? Coveralls? Lab coats?

We currently require anyone, including visitors, to wear at minimum an apron and hair net in plant.  Managers, supervisors and office personnel all are required to wear a lab coat and/or apron and hair net and beard net, if applicable, and if they are participating in any work with food or food related items, a smock is also required and of course no watches, jewelry and closed toed shoes are required by anyone that goes in the plant.

We have same policy.  Sometimes...the owners walk through and well let's just say they walk through like they own joint, which they do.  Although, they have improved greatly versus when I started at another facility of theirs 13 years ago.  They at least wear hair nets and beard nets now.  Beyond that...it's a tough sell.
