I have just transferred companies to a different type process than my previous experiences. My previous background was in proteins and non-proteins soups and sauces. Therefore I have ad exposure to both USDA and FDA regulated facilities.
My new company is strictly FDA oils, dressings, and margarines. Does anyone have experience in this field and can offer some literature or reference websites so I can read up on some homework of my own?
Additionally My previous experience was with BRC regulations and the current plant is SQF.
Thanks in advance to any help, I'm just impatient to start learning some serious background of this industry so I would like some kind of dependable references as oppose to the "because that's how we've always done it" answer that I'm currently getting.
