Dear Sya,

There is a serie of articles on the web, which can be interesting for you and can give answer to some of your questions. See the links below:

Kind regards,

I imagine like in Canada each country would have their regulations on net weight tolerances. so you would probably have to look it up by country.

here is a link to the Canadian tolerances. http://www.competiti...$FILE/net-e.pdf

Hi Sya,

Product ???? You are potentially talking about an Encyclopedia.

FAO at one time used to issue a set of general "overviews" of Global use but afaik no longer around.

The fact is that as per previous post there is an absoute multitude of interpretations in use of varying complexity and often product specific. Just like Product Specifications.

You are probably better advised to focus/nominate specific countries.

Kind Regards,

Hi Sya,

in Germany, all requirements are stated in the Fertigpackungsverordnung, which you can find under this link. (in German, of course)

http://www.gesetze-i...rtigpackv_1981/

Best regards,

Pauline

Hi Sya

In Denmark the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration accept the specifications from "Bilag 1", page 5 https://www.retsinfo....aspx?id=121602.

If you are interested in legislation from EU-countries you can find it here http://eur-lex.europa.eu/homepage.html

And if countries do have legislation other than EUR-lex it can be found here :http://eur-lex.europ.../n-lex/index_en. Unfortunately not all countries do have their legislation translated into English so it may be a problem understanding

Conny, this Looks like a super useful page!

Unfortunately for many countries (for example Denmark), I get the following error message:

XML error
Could not load XML. Please try again later

Has this ever happened to you ?

Best regards
Pauline
