HELLO ALL,

I know I hardly log in to the forum and I should more often because a lot of you have very god advise and pointers.

anyhow I need examples on how I can document or perform a business continuity test. I was under the impression that a fire drill is enough which I did perform but I did not understand what the next step  was. the auditor told me that I basically have to imagine a catastrophe like a major earthquake and in a case of this event what will happen to the product that is left on the processing line, how will I verify that the product is still good or I need to dispose.

how should I approach this?

thanks in advance :-)

Hi b.juarez,

FS standard is unknown. Below is oriented mainly to SQF.

There are many threads here on this "topic", a few are below -

Based on our Vulnerability Assessment (within the Business Continuity Plan), we selected 6 events most likely to occur. Then we have a mock crisis audit where an event is sent to management to respond individually. TheAttached File  Mock Crisis Audit.xlsx   29.96KB   198 downloadsgroup gets together to discuss lessons learned (i.e. needed resources, etc.). I have attached our template. Hope it helps.
