11.2.9.1 Specifications for equipment, utensils and protective clothing, and procedures for purchasing equipment shall be documented and implemented

 

Please i would appreciate, If someone has written this procedure and share with me.

1.1.1      Facility only purchases equipment, utensils and protective clothing that meets the following specifications:

1.1.1.1  Equipment, utensils and protective clothing purchased must conform to 3A Sanitary Standards, NSF Standards or another type of food safety certification            whenever possible.

1.1.1.2  Equipment, utensils and protective clothing (utensils, containers, spatulas, tables, conveyor belts, gloves, aprons, etc.) must be non-contaminating and easily cleanable. 

1.1.1.3  Items must be constructed of non-toxic, non-absorbent material that is resistant to the environment, the food, and cleaning and disinfecting agents. 

1.1.1.4  Equipment and utensils may not be made of wood, ferrous metals, brass or galvanized metals.

1.1.1.5  Item is manufactured and designed for use in a food facility and meets all regulatory requirements.
