Hello!

I’d like to ask for some assistance.
I received an email reminder for the tomorrow’s webinar but I have some trouble downloading the attendee checklist. The link doesn’t seem to be working.
How do I get the checklist?
Thanks :)

Azucena Lucio : Hi, for example if I have a CCP for controling foreign matter  like stones and wood sticks (that are inherent to the peanuts plants) and my ccp is a visual inspection, how can I establish a limit control?
Juan  Colombo : Sonam G: In my opinión HACCP do not apply for warehouse,
Jeffery Stenner : Sonam, yes.
Juan  Colombo : At least is a refrigeration warehouses
Jeffery Stenner : Key is risk assessment.
Mel Morris : SOnam G. Yes you need HACCP - but you may determine that you do not have any CCPs after your risk analysis
Jeffery Stenner : With GFSI schemes, HACCP is required for distribution centers.
Betzy  Gil : How can be sesional variations considered?
Vivian Lee : Sonam, yes HACCP applies to distribution warehouse. This is required for BRC Storage & Distribution.
Rajshree Patel : UNABLE TO CONNECT
Betzy  Gil : Do  we need to follow specific stantard for flow diagram symbols?
Sonam G : We do have CCPs, for storing medical supplies.
suma lakshmana : hi should we review the whole HACCP if any new step is added which is not a critical step or is it enough to carry out HARA  for that step only
Jeffery Stenner : Betzy, as an auditor I do not have requirements for symbols, so long as they are clear and consistent.
Betzy  Gil : Thank you Jeffery,
Jeffery Stenner : Simon, will you be distributing copies of this presentation.  Theres some good stuff here.
Rajshree Patel : CAN YOU PLEASE SEND US COPY OF THIS WEBINAR BY EMAIL
Rosemary  Flores : Will you be distributing copies of this presentation?  this is really great information to have

Sonam G : Storage Controls requires temperature mapping?
Betzy  Gil : Can you give examples of seasonal variations being considered in a flow chart?
Jeffery Stenner : Sonam, yes.  Make sure you make the distinction between storage controls for quality reasons as opposed to food safety reasons.
Rajshree Patel : Great, Thank you so much SImon. I am looking for for all information.  I try few time to connect but no luck.
Navor Guzman : if copaking, for another company, should i modify my flow diagram?
Sonam G : Thanks Jeffery!
Jeffery Stenner : Navor, only if your customer has a different formula or process requirement.  If it's a generic formula with a specific label, no.
Navor Guzman : thaks Jeffery
Jeffery Stenner : I meant a private label.
Francis Wallington : How interesting to use the hexagon to indicate control mechanism and separate decison diamond
Mel Morris : Yes Francis Wallington - it's very different than any flow chart i've seen in HACCP plans
Mercedes Grome : If we ship to our DC down the street, does that need to be stated on the Flow Chart?
Amit Kheradia : Do we HACCP flow charts in use where other Preventive Controls (PC) are considered, for instance cleaning and sanitizing of equipment before production begins and so on ... ?
Jeffery Stenner : Amit, preventative controls are dealt with in the Hazard Analysis.
Mercedes Grome : If we ship to our DC down the street, does that need to be stated on the Flow Chart?
Jeffery Stenner : I like this example, never seen it before.
Mel Morris : Jeffrey Stenner, yes its innovative
Francis Wallington : I can see the deployment of the flow diagram as demonstrated as a communication tool within shopfloor .
Jackie Lapointe : excellent subject
Betzy  Gil : There is a need of process approach training at all levels
Andrew Keller : yes Francis, this will be a great tool for visual reference.
Myreen Leanca : HACCP Plan has to be document-controlled?
Francis Wallington : Simon , please ask about software speaker uses to draw such diagrams
Mel Morris : Francis You can do this in Excel
Stanley Martin : I like the eaxmple showing the coloured dots indicating the documents used, and responsible person.
Betzy  Gil : Periodical verification of flow diagrams should be part of peiodical process audits
Mel Morris : We are fortunate that our employees are stable, low turnover very few temps
Daisy Kaur : Is it a good practice to have a one flow diagram for similar products?
Sonam G : What steps can be taken to prevent employee fluctuations?
Mel Morris : Sonam G that is a Business wide decision - working conditions, benfits, pay, opportunities for advancement, what other jobs are available in the vincinity all affect turnover
Sonam G : Ok, Thanks Mel!
AISHA KULSOOM : From CFIA FSEP prospective HACCP team lead can sign off on the flow diagrams after being verified?

Sonam G : Can you please discuss about how to implement temperature mapping for storage rooms.
E.J. Adams : suyapa padilla - if the salads have the same process steps and machines you can use 1 flow diagram.
enrique r : Very good
neda salamat : Is it a requirement to have that color dot with documents in use and responsible person in diagram?
Lee Egan : Thanks Marco Donado
Adrienne Musumeci : Can the flow diagram be too "busy", is simpler better?
Charles  Mintah : is it important to indicate water for washing on your flow diagram?
alyssa j : Our spectrum of product is so large that we cannot do EACH product.  We have HACCP diagrams for each process.  We list the products under each process.  Thoughts?

Jeffery Stenner : just google Flow Chart Software.  Tons of stuff out there, including free shareware.
meyer gutierrez : thanks meyer
Adrienne Musumeci : I like the new format of you webinar
E.J. Adams : Can you discuss co-packing and flow diagrams.
Matthew Winchester : If you use the colour labels as you mentioned in the flow diagram, would it be better to use small shapes to describe workers vs controls (circles vs triangles)? That way we can determine the difference between the two.
Adrienne Musumeci : Is it better to have a simpler flow chart?
Samuel Mudd : Upon completion of your flow chart is there a tool or resource that can look over it prior to an audit to ensure accuracy?
Jeffery Stenner : Adrienne, your flow chart should contain every step in the process.
Fernanda Avellar : In the sushi industry we have different sushi rolls but all the steps are the same for each type of sushi roll being produced. We used to have one Flow Diagram for all of that but FDA requested Flow Diagram for each type of roll being produced. What should we do?
