hello

 

i am looking for some help please .

has anybody got a supplier approval proc fresh herbs and vegetables ? 

 

we are in a process of looking to source fresh herbs and vegetables to further processing  into extracts . 

 

Would the supplier have to have some accreditation ?

would we have to ask for any  testing results  ?

 

i would be really great full for any advise  .

There are many GAP programs around the world.....they are on farm food safety systems. I don't know particularly if the UK has one. You need to know if they use manure on the fields (and if so what kind). Also ask if they adhere to any pesticide/insecticide days to harvest requirements.  Ie. spray today....label says 21 days til harvest....do they actually follow that
