This is the first audit for this facility so there are no CAs from past year.  This would be Jan - August

What other typical events are reviewed for the past year?

CAPA

Complains/ per units sold

Continuous improvements

Oh, and its a high care high risk site!

Dear Anniegirl,

Normally you will find the minimum content requirements in the quality norm of the certication scheme. In addition you put the indicators which allow you and your management team to steer on these quality indicators.

It's a good practice to do a monthly recording and follow-up.

Kind regards,

Gerard Heerkens

I agree with IFSQN Senior:  your management needs to review whatever your food safety scheme requires.  For SQF, the requirement is to review your entire food safety program.

Hello Annie,

Though the standard states that the frequency is at least annually, we are doing it quarterly. The minutes of our 3 monthly meeting are reviewed. One year is so lengthy. There are plenty of events that you may miss.

The Standard specifically states what topics should be reviewed/discussed.

While the Standard specifies that the management review meeting should be conducted at least annually, that's far too long IMO.

Quarterly meetings offer more value. It's easier to get everyone in the same room, it takes less time, and meaningful corrective actions are better served.

If you meet in December, and had some quality/food safety issues in February, what benefit will you actually have by discussing them in December?
