Hi Everyone,

We are looking at introducing a multi-head hopper to our factory to consolidate various types of sweets to distribute as ready to eat consumer pots. The plan is to pack a mixture of varying different sweets using the multi-head hopper. The question I have is, does anyone have any guidance on how to validate and verify this? Is there a best practice guide?

Sample sample sample

You'll need to pull a lot of samples to weigh them for discrepancies outside of the spec and from head to head

If this is a new machine, the company should provide you with a tech who can help you with this and/or they should have data that supports how accurate the machine is

If you sample and weigh yourself, you'll need to repeat the validation for EACH PRODUCT MADE

Then you'll be able to just do random weight checks during operations
