Attached is a visual that I have posted at theElsmar C*#!.
It's getting lots of hits. The visual is a Mind mapped visual that explains the process audit approach according to Allan J Sayle in his publication named "Management audits" ISBN 0-9511739-0-1
I'll post the partner of this map if requested. The feedback I have received to date is very positive. I understand many are using the visual to give potential auditors the big picture regarding, the relation of system and process.

Hi Wallace,

Thanks for these they really are useful tools and I will pass them on.

I wondered on the 'auditing the task (process) elements' visual, would the auditor simply use this as a reference or would the visual be used to develop the audit checklist. It would be great if you could provide some more information on the practical uses for the visuals.

Regards,
Simon

Sorry about the late reply Simon.
I don't get any email notifications of replies to my postings at the SDF, is this something you could help with?

The visuals are for teaching and learning purposes.
I have had high download counts at the C*#! and decided to move them over to the SDF for sharing purposes.
I have had much feedback from those who have downloaded the visuals and, it's clear that this type of visual format is gaining popularity with many in the business areas regarding, communicating information.

The current feedback makes it clear that, the visuals are being used by organizations to give the big picture or Giraffe view (As Claes Gefenberg of the C*#! states).
The big picture view allows the potential and actual auditor to view the whole information process, as a Mind mapped format. I have found this format to be so successfull that, I became involved with the developer of a Mind mapping software, becoming one of the developers.
Any information required re- the name of the software used to compile the mapped format, just post here and, with the permission of Simon, I'll get infor to you through the SDF.
Simon, would you be prepared to review the software? If so, I'll forward you an inconditional complimentary user serial key and download instructions.
Let me know.
Regards
Wallace.

Hi Wallace, yes I sure can. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you should see a little image like a 'piece of paper on a blue square'. Click that and you will be presented with options to subscribe to the topic / forum.

I think it would be interesting to hear more about mind mapping software and the subject of mind mapping in general. I have no problems if you tell us a bit about the software in the forum below to get the ball rolling:

Review Centre (books, websites, software)

Thanks for the kind offer of the download, I would like to accept, however, I have to be honest it may be a while before I can get stuck into it.

Regards,
Simon
