The Registration Process

When you first arrive at the International Food Safety & Quality Network Community you will see Welcome Guest (Log In | Register) at the top of the screen. When you click on Register you will be taken to the registration page and asked to fill out the following information.
Terms & Rules
You must click the box to acknowledge that you agree to the rules and conditions of the forum or you cannot become a member of the International Food Safety & Quality Network Community.
Please choose a Username
Your Username is your identity in the community. Your Username can be any name although it is NOT recommended that you use your full first and last name as a Username. Your Username will be the first impression members will have of you. Choose wisely. Your Usernames must be between 3 and 32 characters long.
Please choose a Password
Your Password can be anything you want as long as it is between 3 and 32 characters long. Try to use a Password that you will remember and do not share it with anyone otherwise they could log on and create havoc in your name.
Please enter your email address
As mentioned above you must enter a valid email address. We do verify email addresses to ensure that the International Food Safety & Quality Network Community remains a safe, spam free community.
Please re-enter your email address
When you re-enter your email address it must be done exactly as before or it will be rejected.
Please select the appropriate time zone to insure that the correct time is reflected in the forums. Don't forget to select Day Light Savings if it is appropriate.
As indicated the following information is optional. It is just a way to share a little about yourself so feel free to skip it. You can always change or add info after you're registered.

This helps us to understand a little more about our marketing efforts.

If you were referred to us by an existing forums member please tell us who.
So we can say thank you to members who help to promote our community.
Security Code Confirmation (Anti SPAM)
The section is another precaution to keep spammers out. You will be assigned a 6 digit unique registration code (don't worry you don't have to memorize this). You will then be required to enter the number in the confirm registration code box. Only numbers are used, so a '0' is a numerical zero, not the alphabetical 'O'. If you do not see any numbers, or see broken images, please contact a board administrator to rectify the problem.
When you have finished inputting the required information click on Submit my registration.
Completing Your Registration
You will be sent a validation email after you submit your registration. You must click the validation link in this email to complete your registration. You will be able to log in without completing the validation, but you will be restricted from posting. If you need to have the validation email resent, log in with the Username and password you used during the registration process and you will then see a link in the top right corner that says Resend Validation. Click this link and another validation email will be sent to the address you used during your registration. Please be sure to check your SPAM folders if you haven't received the email.

We could make a huge list of rules, terms and conditions, but you probably wouldn’t read them.
All that we ask is that you observe the following:
1. No spam, profanity, pornography, trolling or personal attacks
2. Topics and posts should be “on topic” and related to site content
3. No (unpaid) advertising
4. You may have one account on the board at any one time
