My little orange book 'Codex Alimentarius - Food Hygiene Basic Texts' is revision 3, 1997. At least I presume its revision 3 as on the publication history page (55) it says under 'Document' 'Revision 3 (Current)'.

Can anyone tell me if revision 3 is the current version?

Regards,
Simon

Hi Simon, according to FAO link current version is 2nd edition dated 2001. Up to my best knowledge as usual :)

An ancient Chinese proverb teaches that the person who waits for a roast duck to fly into their mouth must wait a very long time.

Simon,

Yes, this is the current version. Many comments and proposals have been made by different countries for specific changes so don't be surprised that we may be heading that direction soon.
