Interestingly, if I were a Committee Member sitting on ISO Technical Board, I would be really happy to note that the interest on ISO 22K in this forum appear to indicate good things to come. While, Ozoz is raising a question on ISO 22K certificaiton in his country Turkey, I really would like to know the level of awareness in other countries on this specific impending standard.

I know in Malaysia where I come from, the level of awareness is very low. I believe this to be the case of other countries around the region including Thailand and Singapore.

Can others by any chance have any inkling about the level of awareness in their respective country. Good to hear from you guys.

CURIOUS

I am impressed on the awareness of ISO 22K by entrepreneurs in your country. Great to know that.

BUT - what about other countries around the world. Whats the status like :uhm:

I work for a UKAS accredited Certification body in the UK, I know a training organisation based in London but run by a turkish national who offers online training packages and on site training.

We are working with UKAS for accredited certification to ISO22000 but no certification body can be UKAS approved before 31-1-2006.

the training company is International hygiene

The certification website is Global Homepage

both have a turkish option

Hello James, welcome to the forums and thank's for your input on this and other topics. Iv'e taken a quick look at your site and couldn't help noticing a couple of typos:

http://www.ihtl.co.uk/pp.php

"Why Are Inspections Curried Out?"

"Danger High Woltage"

Other than that nice site and some decent products.

Dear Sirs,
All of the industries waiting technical regulation of Ministry of Agriculture (MARA) about HACCP implementation in stead of ISO 22000. Because ISO 22000 will be voluntry standard in Turkey. HACCP Requartments of MARA is obligatory and Official auditor of MARA have been trained in regard to Dutch HACCP requartments. HaCCP implementation will be begin 30th of March 2006 for potansial hazardous sectors as compulsory implementation. EU HACCP provision will be more important than national HACCP requirments and ISO 22000
Thanks

What is your view if ISO 22000 becomes a European Standard and I have a strong feeling that that it may just be.

Nevertheless, post 1st August 2005, all ISO 9001:2000 food process organizations must integrate a HACCP PLAN into their QMS program which many have left this out and that means integrating ISO 15161:2002.

That also means that a QMS Auditor must be competent to handle food process ISO 9K System.

Interesting to see so many variable directions and possible adoption of ISO 22000.

Guess we shall all know by Sept!
