I am looking for help in Risk Assessment scoring. Once you have done your risk assessments and scored the severity and likelihood, is there a set method for working out the result?

I have just had this job thrown on me, The risk assessment bit is not a problem, its just the scoring!! :uhm:

Cheers

nadine.

Hi Sam,
Its all in the justifications of your scoring "numbers" for the severity, likelihood and significance. Like I had mentioned in one of the earlier issues on hazard risk analysis, I no longer use scoring method (which tends to be difficult to quantify and later qualify) but instead we go straight to justification of our hazard risk analysis (this is what I know to be the preferred method)

Example was given on this specific topic .........somewhere in this Food Safety Section. :uhm: If information is sensitive and cannot be placed online, I would be more than willing to give you a hand in private :D (If Simon  )
