Dear All

I wish to know how to become a HACCP auditor. What sort of requirements need to be fullfilled - are there any internationally accepted professional qualifications for this?

Dear Prashanna:

As far as I know, if you would like to join any certification body as HACCP auditor, they will have specific requirements for that e.g. must attended xxx courses, conducted xxx times of adequacy audits, xxx times of on-site audits. Some even required those auditor to be from the food science background and working for xxx years in food processing industries.

While for a person to become HACCP consultant (may be for a consultation company), the requirement is more lenient.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
