Pockets on clothes,

Is there somebody who has experience with excluding clause 7.7.2 from the BRC IOP standard, outside pockets on work clothes.
I am thinking about a low risk area for the production of plastic packaging.

Have a nice day, Okido

Hello Okido,

If Category B then pockets are not allowed on upper body garments. However, if you have determined a low risk area of a Category B facility then you may apply for an ‘Exemption to the Standard'. Simply document this in your hazard analysis (HACCP study) and agree it with the Certification Body.

Have a nice day.
