Hi

We have Soil Association Audit at the end of this month as our licence has expired already couple of months ago.

At the moment we are not making any organic products and have no any such plan to make in near future. Would any one could brief me what kind of documents we need to present to auditor to get licence?

We have all policies and forms we used previously while producing organic products. Would presenting those document(blank) would be enough.

Any Help much appreciated

Martin

Hi Martin

:welcome:

If you don't make organic products and don't plan to in the future then cancel the audit and save yourselves some money.

Typical information required:

Records to demonstrate full traceability from finished product back to raw materials
Documentation for goods received
Delivery notes and purchase invoices
Goods received logs/records
Records of organic verification checks (confirming the authenticity of the organic goods)
Copies of supplier’s current organic certificates
Organic operating Procedures/Quality Manual and Training Records
Company organic product specifications/working recipes and SA Cert specification sheets for all licensed products
Derogations for non-organic ingredients, GMO declarations and flavour declarations
Examples of product labelling/packaging for all licensed products
Production records
Processing/packing records including quantities processed
Details of bleed runs used to purge equipment which cannot be cleaned before use
Sales Records
Confirmation of value of organic products sold during the period of the last Annual Return
Copies of sales invoices and delivery notes
Quantities of product sold during the most recent annual stock-take period
Physical Stock taking records for the beginning and end of the company financial year and any intermediate stock takes
Hygiene/cleaning schedules and records
Records of pest control inspections and treatments
Information for directly imported organic products
EU Import Certificates which accompany consignments of organic produce from countries outside the EU including approved third countries
Authorisation for the importing of products from outside the EU
Copies of Organic Certificates for overseas suppliers
Details of import routes and intermediate storage/handling facilities for all directly imported organic materials
