Can anyone offer a review of this software/guide? I'm in a small bakery who is seeking BRC certification. None of us have experience in certification and are attempting to write these programs ourselves. I'd really like this to be a downloadable quality manual that I simply customize with my own company's name. Wishful thinking or a dream come true?
Additionally, if you have used it, did you go through audit with it and it alone?
Thanks in advance,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

First off I must declare I am the owner of the IFSQN website. I can tell you the FSMS documentation packages are downloadable in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the templates are fully editable allowing you to customize them for your products and process. I can also tell you they are written by an expert with over 20 years experience working with Food Safety Management Systems such as BRC, they are also provided with technical support so if you need to ask questions relating to adapting the documents for your business you can do that. In three years we have sold over 300 documentation systems all over the world and they have helped many companies achieve certification. If you want me to put you in touch with some satisfied clients I would be happy to.

If you have further questions feel free to ask.

First, thanks so much for the info. Second, I'd love to get in contact with other users. My main concern is that we have so many questions, we may overwhelm tech support! :)
Also, we're not unique in that we want to be certified by June.

The BRC Food Safety and Quality Management System - Food Manufacturer Edition has been a perfect fit for our facility. As a small business, time and resources must be spent wisely and the FSQM system has enable us to cost effectively and efficiently switch over from our previous quality system while covering all the previous gaps from a general standard.

In my opinion, this system has saved the company thousands as of dollars as if it were not for this program, we would have had to add either an experienced BRC staff member or a consultant. The system is well written and is easily comprehensible, even to those that are relatively new the FQSM arena. I especially like the fact that the system is well organized and directly corresponds to the standard. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to upgrade their quality system.

Thank you to Maria for the review!

Our company purchased the manual and it is incredibly helpful in providing the guidance we needed to know what to do next. We have set a date for our audit and working feverishly to get our proverbial ducks in a row. Without this guide, I would be sweating much more than I am.
