we are getting ready to do training for the year with our company, i came accross the badge system/key system that we have, i was wondering if we should impement this as an GMP??? all of our employees have a key/card to come in and it is time and day control as to when they can access our building.

thanks in advance.

I would usually cover this topic with the employees during training on GMP's, Food Defense and HACCP. I dont have it impletmented as a GMP, but i do have them listed in our Food Defense Plan.

BRC requires a site security risk assessment. This by definition leads onto staff training and awareness of the procedure. It will need to be documented and I would suggest audited. GMP or not I suspect you will need to document and control it. Training records will also be required.
