For a long time our website has been on shared hosting with a few hundred other websites.  This can cause performance issues with stability, up-time and speed.  We have grown and are growing very quickly and so we have taken the decision to move to a private dedicated server.

The migration to the new server will be carried out over the weekend.  One of the problems this causes is visitors (depending on their location) can be looking at the website on different servers for a while, which can be confusing and we can lose posts etc.  With this in mind we are taking the site offline for 24 hours or so until the switch is fully propagated.

The site will be offline 24:00 (midnight tonight) GMT (18:00 PDT) for approximately 24 hours.

Apologies for any inconvenience during this necessary downtime.

Regards,

Simon

As far as we can see the move to the new server is fully complete. However it can take up to 48 hours to fully propogate and it is possible that some people will still be seeing the site on the old server/

If you post a topic and subsequently you cannot see it then it is possible you posted it on the old website.

If anyone experiences a problem with the site please reply here.

Thanks,
Simon

Can I take it by the lack of response that everything is working fine and no complaints?

I have noticed a significant and consistent increase in speed, anyone else?

Regards,

Simon
