How much BPA found to claim BPA free or do we have to find none?

How much amount of BPA found to claim BPA free or we have to find none

TDI for BPA of 0.05 mg/kg bw. 

There is no rules as such saying BPA free as there will some level of migration

I took PET bottles to lab to test those plastic have BPA or not butthe lab report said "the migration of BPA in 4% Acetic acid" so this way is the same way to test that plastic has BPA or not?? Confused me

Considering EU rules, there isn't any limit for BPA content, there is limit in BPA migration to food and BPA is not allowed to be used in some applications of PC for infants. 

 

If you want to assure that some piece is BPA free you have to assure the BPA is not used in the manufacturing process, but you won't find a testing method to assure that piece is BPA free, because that would mean that BPA content is 0, and there is always a detection limit in testing, which could be near to 0 but not equal to 0.

 

Anyway, I always though that BPA was associated to PC, not to PET.
