Hi,

We export animal feeds to EU. Its not that simple. We need to have an agreement with our local competent authority prior to export. For that we need to follow EU regulations in place. Local competent authority (under govt), comes to audit us for compliance to EU regulations. Its quite a complex process.

Do you want to export a sample of fish oil to EU? Or you produce fish oil and want to export it to EU?

If you are a producer of fish oils and you want to export the latter to EU, you should contact your local competent authority. They will guide you.

Regards,

R

Hi Rudra,

We wanted to export it to EU. Do u still need to issue a Health Certificate when you export your feeds to EU?

Hi,

here, in Mauritius, for every exportation, we need to issue a health certificate + salmonella tests reports for products being exported.

Hi Maddox,

As highlighted by Rudra, importation into the EU from a country outside the area is complex. Depending whether you are talking about food or feed grade fish oil, there is legislation that relates to this.

Good Luck!
