Hello everyone  ,

I am a Master's degree student and I am looking for participants to help me fill out my thesis survey which is about consumer trust in food safety. Food safety is an important topic nowadays and this drove me to write my thesis on this. I would really be grateful for your participation in this very quick survey (it barely takes 2 mins to fill out and it is anonymous). Thank you very much for your time and participation in this study  :smarty:

I might add that the survey requires you to be a user of social media. :crying:

Kind Regards,

Hi 441635,

I'm curios if surveying a bunch of food safety professionals might skew the results of your survey. On the face of it, we might not be typical consumers.

Best regards,

Xylough

Hello,

Yes my apologies about social media  , I am trying to explore the role of social media as an influencing factor on consumer purchasing behavior when food scandal occur. Might be a bit confusing, sorry about that.

Any responses is alright for this study. I got a lot of surprising answers while collecting data so far, so the opinion of food specialists is absolutely acceptable (and also exciting to be honest )

Thank you very much for your help, really  ^_^

Hello again,

I have allowed results of my 3 questionnaires to be available, so people can check responses. This study originally aimed to be a cross-country comparison between France and Taiwan (where I currently study). However due to insufficient responses from French participants, I enlarged to scope of researched to non-Taiwanese. So far, over a 100 participants from Taiwan have been willing to fill out one of this survey (avalaible in English, French and Mandarin Chinese), and I believe their responses could be valuable to improve food safety in Taiwan in the future. The food industry in Taiwan has been subject to various scandals in recent years (use of plasticizers in drinks and foods, bleached tofus, meat adulteration (dog meat), oil adulteration ("gutter oil" scandal) etc).

The participation of anyone in this study is highly appreciated as it will bring more "weight" to my thesis. Besides, the availability of the data might somewhat help bring a new light on consumers' trust regarding food issues.

Thank you again, and thank you to all of you who have been willing to help me getting responses. If you have any questions, suggestions, or critics, I would be happy to receive them.
