Which Standard are you referring to?

Years ago AIB (American Institute of Baking) proscribed 20 feet between traps. That requirement has gone away in recent years ago.

At a minimum, I would place traps on each side of any doors that lead to the exterior of your facility.

If you have documentation that shows a high catch rate, I would add additional traps in the areas where activity has been observed.

glue is chemical substance. you can`t use any kind of pest control items in any part of the production facility. as i said glue is chemical. Also there must n`t be any insects at production area.

at the entrance  u can use glue traps. any where else use mechanical ones . the distance may be in average 5-7 meters.

hope that helps you.

Also, you need to maintain a very clean exterior property with nothing planted within at least 30 inches of the foundation. The type of product you are making will also influence the type and number of traps you need

Please stop referring to me as Sir/sirs

Thank you all for your valuable inputs…BTW we are ISO 22000 certified…but our external auditor suggested to retain a standard distance in between glue traps…however we are keeping HACCP certified insectocuter and glue traps at the entrance of production area…and few glue traps at the wall corners…I feel Marshall’s & Mahmoud's point is valid “20 feet/6 Meter” even if it’s gone away….Scampi, we are into ready to eat food production business...thank you once again to all…..
