Hi,

We are supplier of Filter Aid Powder for food products.

Generally food products passes through the Filter Aid powder and doesn't leach or leave any ingredient to the food products.

We recently received query from our client that  how this material complies Food safety angle.

Can any share guidelines / regulatory documents for filter aid powder used in food products

Regards,

You should be able to show that there are no pesticides, heavy metals, dioxins, Proposition 65 materials, microbiological contaminants, or any other harmful material that could leach out into the food that is passing through them.  They should comply with the same standard that food contact packaging must comply with.

Here is the FDA area that deals with these materials.
