Hi All,

We are a food packaging company, ISO 9001 & BRC accredited. We have a documented HACCP process but I want to take the company to the next level - Would ISO 22000 be the next level? Or is there some other process that can take our company to the next level?

Thanks,

Hi Lisa,

afaik BRC and ISO22000(as used within fssc22000) are both FSMS packaging systems benchmarked to GFSI (as also are probably SQF/IFS) so you might say they are all the same level from a GFSI POV and you are at that level already.

I guess it depends what you mean by the next level ?

Kind Regards,

SQF has a module specifically made for packaging systems.  Go to www.sqfi.com for more details.

Module 13: Food Safety Fundamentals – Good Manufacturing Practices for Production of Food Packaging (GFSI Scope M)

Good luck!
